Peddars way Norfolk coastal path (UK National Trail), 93 miles, 6 walking days, June 2014
Thetford – Little Cressingham – Castle Acre – Old Hunstanton – Burnham Market – Blakeney – Cromer
The UK National Trail Peddars Way (no apostrophe, I checked) runs in an almost straight line from just outside Thetford (the location for the BBC’s ’70s comedy Dad’s Army, Capt. Mainwaring and his Home Guard crew) to Hunstanton on the Norfolk coast. There, the trail turns right and follows the Norfolk Coastal Path down to Cromer. The trail is undemanding, even the coastal section, but it’s an enjoyable walk and apart from a few blisters, we had no mishaps.
