Snowshoeing in Switzerland

We often go to Switzerland to visit family and we base ourselves in a small Alpine mountain village called Gryon, close to the Villars ski resort in the canton of Vaud. In the winter, we snowshoe (raquette) around the ski slopes of Bretaye, just above Villars, and up to the refuge at Solalex, a beautiful valley overlooked by the smooth north-west miroir face of the L’Argentine mountain. Here are just a few images from our snowshoeing activities.
