Last night, a suspected male suicide bomber killed at least twenty-two people, including youngsters, and injured many more in Manchester as they left a pop concert at Manchester Arena.  It’s too early to say what monster did this, or why, but my money is on a radicalised religious zealot who had been brainwashed into thinking that killing many innocent gig-goers would advance the cause of his religion, or be a response to perceived misguided military actions in foreign lands, or be the result of brooding alone in some backroom bedroom or squalid squat.  In due course we will find out but for now my thinking is that his name will turn out to be Mohammed, or Omar, or Ahmed, or Adam, or…
